Nature Journaling for Families

Event Description

Learn nature journaling basics from one of the naturalists at the Shadbush-Burgess Nature Center, places to visit in nearby parks, and how to access field guides to aid your research. Start at the library for an introduction to nature journaling and walk to Heritage Garden for an introduction to field observation. Journals, pencils and journaling prompts and challenges provided while supplies last. Complete the journaling challenges and get a prize. Due to space limitations, registration is open to Shelby Township residents only. Walk-in spots may be available if registration does not fill. Registration begins June 12. Please register each person attending.
